Weymouth ALB undertakes exercise with T.S Pelican of London
Weymouth ALB Ernest & Mable under took an afloat exercise with the Tall Ship Pelican of London in Weymouth Bay on Tuesday 27th March 2012.

Date: Tuesday 27th March 2012  
Story: The crew at Weymouth Lifeboat Station conducted a joint exercise with the Tall Ship Pelican of London in Weymouth Bay.

The exercise was used to practise several different scenario's before the Pelican commences her busy program of sail training.
The exercise commenced with a Man Overboard from the Pelican which was recovered from the water, back onboard by her sea boat.
The ALB then went alongside to transfer First aiders and stretchers.
Once the casualty had been evaluated, treated and positioned in the stretcher, all where then transferred back to the ALB.
A tow was then pass and connected to the Pelican, and the vessel towed astern and alongside the ALB.
To conclude the exercise pyrothenics including 'rocket lines' where used.
