Mayor visits Weymouth Lifeboat station on Christmas day
The Mayor of Weymouth & Portland visited Weymouth Lifeboat station to wish the crew and partners a happy Christmas

Story: The Mayor of Weymouth & Portland Councillor Graham Winter and his wife Mary attended Weymouth Lifeboat station for a traditional festive drink and to wish the crew and partners a Merry Christmas.
The Lifeboat station has been opening on Christmas morning for a festive drink for over 40 years.
The tradition started when Devonish brewery use to donate a barrel of beer to the crew.
With the brewery long gone the crew now buy a barrel themselves to offer to the public.
