Description: |
Both Weymouth Lifeboats where launched to a report of a local Fishing Vessel 'Rowella' aground on rocks just to the East of Portland Bill. Portland Bill Coastguard rescue team where also on scene.Weymouth ILB arrived onscene at 0725 to find the vessel clear of the rocks. After talking with the skipper who was happy with his situation and with no water ingress the vessel continued her passage to shoot her pots. Both Lifeboats where released to return to station at 0730. |
