Portland Coastguards requested Lifeboat assistance to an 8 metre power vessel that had issued a Pan Pan. 'K Serah' was in Balaclava Bay with fouled propellers and drifting onto a lee shore.
ILB paged launched and proceeded to the position.
A local fishing vessel 'Portland Fisher' had responded to the Pan Pan, and towed the vessel clear of the rocks. When ILB arrived they transferred the tow and towed the vessel to Portland Marina.
