Description: |
Portland Coastguards requested lifeboat assistance to a report of two missing divers from a local dive vessel off Grove Point, Portland.
Both boats paged launched and proceded.
Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 106 and Bill Coastguard team also tasked along with several local vessels.
ILB tasked to do shoreline search between Grove Point and Portland Bill.
ALB searched further offshore.
106 searched down tide and located the divers 4 miles form the start position.
Helicopter lifted the divers and dive kit and returned them to land.
All units released to return to station, refuelled and made ready for service |
